How far along are you/what's your fruit or other comparable size? 

10 weeks, or...a prune. Ew. Looking forward to a lime.

Rants/raves/symptoms/other baby-related stuff:

Got to see a strong heartbeat and a cute little bean last Friday. This Friday is a followup with my OB to discuss. Morning sickness has mainly subsided, so that is fantastic.

Also, my two other friends who I knew were trying are both pregnant, too! One with her first and one with her second like me. So thrilled for both of them!

GTKY #1: What are you most looking forward to about/during this pregnancy? Least looking forward to? 

Most looking forward to the anatomy scan to make sure all's well and find out the sex. I'm so impatient. If we end up doing Harmony or another similar blood test sooner, I'd sure love to know the sex then... but we'll see. 

Least looking forward to the hugeness at the end and the immense swelling sure to happen in July. Considering how swollen my fingers were last time during winter, I can only imagine how it'll be in the hot summer here.

GTKY #2: What's your favorite season or time of year?

I love summer, so even though I'll be swollen, I'm thrilled to have a baby in warm weather this go-around! I love pool/beach weather.

Late spring. I love being outside with my critters and DD in nice weather.

Ha, @sparkysunshine, good call - I guess I should have said, "what are you most looking forward to other than, ya know, having a baby" Although that's the biggest highlight, of course... I don't want it to get here TOO quickly, either. The sleep deprivation can wait a bit longer...!

GTKY #1: What are you most looking forward to about/during this pregnancy? Least looking forward to?  I love being pregnant and am really looking forward to the 2nd tri burst of energy. I also can't wait to find out the gender - another awesome piece to the 2nd tri.

GTKY #2: What's your favorite season or time of year? Fall. I love fall...the smell, bon fires, Halloween, leaves, everything!

Hi @e&a+momma ! Great to hear from you -- but just FYI, the ticker change threads are for the days when you switch to a new week/number. 

So if you're 7w3d today, "turned 7 weeks" on Saturday. So you can regularly post in the Saturday Ticker Change threads that happen on...Saturdays

How far along are you/what's your fruit or other comparable size? 11 weeks ! Baby is the size of a lime !

Rants/raves/symptoms/other baby-related stuff: Just woke up from a 2 hour nap and slept 10 hours last night so I guess just exhaustion. Morning sickness is on its way out and getting better each day.

GTKY #1: What are you most looking forward to about/during this pregnancy? Least looking forward to? Most looking forward to feeling this baby because I'm still slightly in denial two ultrasounds later haha. Least looking forward to -- I'm not even sure?

GTKY #2: What's your favorite season or time of year? After summer the holidays and winter are my favorite. This year will be extra special with a summer baby! And now that my school is finished for the semester I can finally enjoy my down time off !

How far along are you/what's your fruit or other comparable size? 11 weeks - a lime or a poker chip...but it must be a very small lime to be the size of a poker chip, right?

Rants/raves/symptoms/other baby-related stuff:  yesterday i had an appointment to get my blood drawn for genetic testing.  i'm nervous about the results but also super-excited to find out the sex early. results will be in in less than two weeks!  i won't have another appointment until 16 weeks--that seems like eons from now.

GTKY #1: What are you most looking forward to about/during this pregnancy? Least looking forward to? I can't wait until my gross post-first baby belly becomes a cute bump and I can wear maternity clothes with abandon.  i'm not looking forward to trying to sleep on my side when that becomes necessary and I'm scared there won't be anything to I can do to avoid the terrible itchy reaction i had to the cesarean painkillers.

GTKY #2: What's your favorite season or time of year? I love spring, specifically the time of the year when the leaves are brand new and a delicate shade of fresh yellow-green

How far along are you/what's your fruit or other comparable size? 8 weeks today! Little One's a raspberry.

Rants/raves/symptoms/other baby-related stuff: Yesterday was my 8-week OB appointment. All went well, but now I have to wait FOUR MORE WEEKS for another appointment/to hear the heartbeat. I did have a 7w ultrasound because of a spotting scare, and we got to see the heart flickering on the screen. But I'm a super-paranoid FTM who just wants to be reassured as much as possible that everything is going well, especially since my symptoms are still super mild. At least the vague queasiness returned today after being gone since Friday. : /

Raves - Getting excited to tell family at Christmas!!

GTKY #1: What are you most looking forward to about/during this pregnancy? Least looking forward to? 

I'm most looking forward to watching DH get excited about this baby. It's our first, and I think it's still sinking in for both of us! When we had the ultrasound, he was a mushy, sappy mess. It was really sweet.

Least looking forward to the weight gain--I know, shallow. But I already had body image issues and struggled with being overweight prior to this pregnancy, so I'm a bit worried. But I guess it really doesn't matter as long as I have a healthy, growing baby!

GTKY #2: What's your favorite season or time of year?

Fall! Especially late October-late November. It's just perfect

Parents:  "I am not retired, I am a full time grandpa/ma"

@chanfa THOSE ARE ADORABLE! Did you make the designs yourself, or use a template you found? Either way, I love it. Definitely post pics of them wearing the shirts here so we can all see their reactions!

@mandyjulie I got the designs online but I have materials to make my own shirts so I rather make it than buy it! Thanks! I will have video rolling and definitely pictures after they change into those shirts!
