Fourth c-section anyone?

Anyone having a fourth c-section? What has your doctor said about your risks? My previous doctor said that there is whopping 40% chance of a problem with the placenta during a 4th pregnancy, if three previous c-sections were done. I'm a bit nervous.

This is out last baby, btw. It was a surprise pregnancy.

Going to be a FTM here but the Mom of the kids I nanny just had her 4th csection last November. Her doctor advised her that it should be her 4th and final because any more could be detrimental to her health or future baby. Generally speaking she had some other difficulties because of scar tissue, past incisions, etc. She said considering all factors her recovery was not necessarily worse but it was much longer compared to previous. Not sure what your plans are as far as help after #4 arrives but if it's an option I would bring in the troops so you can take your time (as much as possible with 4 littles) recovering so you don't end up hospitalized or sick! 4th C-section for me, this was a surprise baby for us to. My doctor is monitoring the placenta to make sure that it has not attached to the front of my uterus. Also at my last appointment she mentioned my scar tissue from last time and said that we would discuss it  when we get closer to delivery. They haven't given me any needs for worry and said that after the anatomy scan they will be able to see where the placenta is and we will make a plan if needed.

This will be my 3rd section, also a surprise. I think 4th timers should get a free tummy-tuck with purchase.

This is my 4th C-section. Surprise baby also. During my 3rd section my doctor removed some scar tissue and commented that everything looked great. I'm not nervous in the least bit to have my 4th (and final) c-section.
