@ashbear720 thank you! CD1 is the worst, it doesn't help that there was literally no sign of AF coming yesterday when I was due, then I woke up and my hope were there in the actual toilet. I appreciate the understanding though. And you are right, it is comforting to hear that other perfectly healthy people have had to wait even longer. The odds are the odds I suppose. I will be fine, it just upset me much more than I expected today and it was the first month that DH actually sounded upset too.

@dieforelle It is frustrating no matter how long you have been trying to see people who aren't trying, don't want the child etc get pregnant like it is nothing. Also, my first cycle and this cycle (I'm on CD1 of my 6th now) were the hardest for me. I'm not sure why the first one was so rough, but you're right, the emotions are crazy. Maybe its the fact that you are so excited and confident and ready and then get the let down, but I feel you on the raw emotional toll of it all. I'm sending you a bad ass bitch head nod and a we got this high five!

  • @dieforelle @shaami1986 I say to DH all the time that I can't imagine how people get pregnant accidentally. DS's dad somehow managed to get his girlfriend pregnant (on purpose because they already knew they were totes in love and going to be together forever) within a couple weeks of meeting her, while he was living at his mom's house and in between jobs. So she just happened to be in her FW and 50 million other stars aligned just right so that she could get KU, but I can't. And I know her fertility has no bearing on mine, but it's still annoying.

GTKY: (stolen from yesterday's TWW since it was a hit) What is the last thing DH/SO did that made you smile? He went food shopping for me over the  weekend and picked up flowers as a surprise.

I'm normally the favourite human for both cats. I had to take boy cat to the vet on Saturday and he's mad about that and giving all his love to DH. DH picks up boy cat and brings him to me and tells him that he needs to cuddle mommy.

WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, OPKs, BD ED or EOD

R/R/CS: I wasn't sure if the 6 days of spotting last week (that started on CD 18) was an actual period because I didn't even need a pad. I think I'm finally convinced that it was a because my OPKs are getting darker since last night and it looks like I'm on track to O 4 days sooner than normal if they continue to get darker. I took a pregnancy test and an OPK this morning, haha.

R/R/CS: FF has given me a six day window for O starting yesterday....but my last few cycles have been 35 days long and with going by CM i'm pretty sure my O is around CD 25 instead.    Now that I'm temping this month I look foward to seeing when it actually is.   The things you look forward to when you're TTC, lol.

GTKY: (stolen from yesterday's TWW since it was a hit) What is the last thing DH/SO did that made you smile?  I hosted DHs b-day party this weekend which was a huge hit and he keeps telling me how awesome it was and how much fun he had.   He also stated randomly, 'I know I don't tell you enough but I really appreciate all you do.  It makes my life easier and is appreciated more than you'll ever know. ' :)
  • Sorry I've been a little MIA lately.

@cwirth89 sorry for the bad appointment. Hopefully everything turns out well in the end. Also I'm no expert but from what I read on here Friday seems a little early in your cycle to be starting Provera.

@sldp123 FX for good SA results!

Then the Sunday after Thanksgiving my aunts families 3 dogs all died suddenly at the same time during our gathering. Now I just found out that a close family friend's grandson just past away yesterday unexpected due to a viral infection. I believe he was less than 6 months old. I think I may seek a counselor to sort through all my emotions.

WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, CP, OPKs, Preseed

R/R/CS: Still no O. I got text book EWCM on Sunday morning for the first time so I suppose that is promising but it's coming off a random high temp that really got my hopes up for a shorter cycle this time. I discarded it because I think it's from drinking. Wine and liquor never caused my temps to go up before but the last two times I had beer I had high temps the next day...weird...

I think I'm going to be taking a break from TB for awhile until I enter the TWW. I'm having a hard time with the WTO this time around. All the fake-out secondary signs and scheduled un-sexy BD has really gotten my spirits down. Not to mention the holidays and all the Christmas pregnancy announcements already starting (thanks Facebook!). I just don't feel strong enough for it at the moment and don't want to ruin my holidays. I think I might even take a break from temping too, we'll see. But I have my FX for all of the TB ladies - you are all amazing strong women. I will see you all in the TWW eventually!

GTKY: I was teasing the DH the other day for always being weird and putting his empty beer bottles on the counter right next to the recycling (he has a tendency to always almost put things away). The next morning I come down to a beer bottle on the counter and I'm thinking he must be crazy when I go to throw it away there is a silly note underneath it for me.

We'll be in the middle of moving/traveling next cycle, so lots of stuff to focus on/keep me busy. It's helping me to have a new focus and a game plan for if I don't O next cycle.

Our puppy had been getting into trouble a lot yesterday, including chewing up 3 pieces to a 1,000-piece puzzle I bought for H for Christmas last year. There is no way to make the puzzle sound cool and my reaction justified so here is it. I was soo bummed/pissed about those 3 pieces. H kept making jokes about how much our puppy was in trouble and at one point he looked at me and told the puppy I was about to cry. Which I was hahaha. He pulled me close and hugged me, and continued to remind me how silly this reaction was ("this is what having kids is going to be like"), but it was still sweet and comforting.

Through the grape vine it was told that a previous girl who use to work at our branch got the position, which we are not suppose to know yet, since it hasn't officially been anounced. Well I guess everyone excluding myself, another co-worker and boss, hate her so much they are willing to quit, retire early or transfer immeditaely if it's 100% true. That's 5 people leaving at once! 2016 is going to be interesting...

They lasted for about 30-40 minutes. They were making me feel miserable and starting to get sick from them as well. Hubby came over and asked if there was anyway to help me feel better and rubbed my back and went through all the ways to try and get rid of the hiccups even though I already tried some of them. Literally 5 minutes after him coming over the hiccups stopped. Thanks babe.

WAYDTGKU: It is the friggin elevator sequence from The Shining up in here, so we are having exactly zero fun.

R/R/CS: My work BFF is leaving us at the end of this week, and there were children literally lying on the floor of her office, listening to sad music in the dark and crying all day today.  I can't help but think it's hilarious.

GTKY: (stolen from yesterday's TWW since it was a hit) What is the last thing DH/SO did that made you smile? Last night, we were making Shutterfly albums of our wedding photos for our parents, and he kept pointing at pictures of me saying things like, "oh, look, it's the most beautiful woman in the world!"

  • Thanks @LINDSEYRVA but I give 100% credit to whoever started the TWW yesterday. Mobile is awful or else I would go back and check to see who it was, haha. But I agree, I loved reading all of these. We have some good men.

  • @severmilli12  - I'm so sorry, and I feel your pain.  I decided to completely cut out drinking these last couple of months

And over the course of 3 straight nights of holiday parties, I can't even tell you how many people asked if it was because I'm pregnant.  I tried ordering/making nonalcoholic drinks to give the illusion of drinking, but people would bust me out on it.  WTF?  Why are you paying that much attention?   Then I would say "no" and they would say "Ok" and give the knowing wink, like "suuure you're not".  So, I had to again confirm that I just wasn't drinking.  Ugh.  I can forgive my friends for asking, because I know that they were just excited at the possibility.  But when randos asked me, I could barely remain polite. I'm sorry you had to deal with the preg questions too.  It hurts.  I wish people could understand that.

He grew up in a No TV household, so he doesn't get into shows or even really know how to work the remote.  I was a latchkey kid, so TV and I go waaay back.  He knew I was totally drained after so much social activity this week, so he indulged me and cuddled/vegged out all day yesterday.  He even proudly said "Look at us baby, binge watching TV like a regular couple!".  hahaa.  Love him so much.  It was just what I needed.
  • Month/Cycle: 9/6

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: Waiting out AF, starting Femara tomorrow.

R/R/CS: So as you might remember, I had a huge breakdown yesterday. I've decided it's not in my best interest to take a break. I believe the intention is good, but the outcome would not be favorable and would do more harm than good. I fully believe I'm on the right track and don't want to derail myself.

GTKY: (stolen from yesterday's TWW since it was a hit) What is the last thing DH/SO did that made you smile?
Basically all of yesterday's convo. The very last thing was a video of two turtles HIO he sent me to get me to laugh and "be all better."
