18 dpo negative hcg tests no periods

Hello every one its been 2 years of my ttc# 1 . This month first cycle with clomid and hcg injections ,but after 14 ,15 dpo hcg tests are negative but no periods .untill today i m 18 dpo ..i am very much curious whts going on in my body i don't have any symptom but light cramps ..dr told me to wait for periods to come .she also said periods come normaly after 14 dpo when not pregnent .so its confusing me..please tell me your experience about clomid and hcg injections..

Are you temping or having ultrasounds done to know when you actually ovulated? If you're using a period tracker, the ovulation dates are guesses and can be off by quite a bit; meaning, you could have ovulated late and not actually be 18 DPO right now.

Are you seeing an RE?

I have no experiences to share, but I can say good luck, and welcome to the board! I suggest looking in to the TWW/WTO daily threads and starting there for getting to know our lovely ladies.

I would ask for a second opinion. If you are truly 18 dpo according to your hcg shot, and have no period or bfp, you could have a cyst.

TCOYF says if you are more than 18DPO and have high temps (if you're temping) but getting BFNs, you could have a luteinized unruptured follicle or corpus luteum cyst.

My experience? I just finished an 18DPO cycle yesterday; today I have AF. I had BFNs all at 13, 15, and 18DPO so it was not a chemical pregnancy. I took Femara 7 days and triggered with Ovidrel. I have PCOS.

I suggest you call your doctor today, if they're open, or tomorrow and let them know the situation if you still don't have AF or a BFP.

This is potentially a dumb question, but are you on progesterone?

I mean... if you're on all that stuff you are hopefully seeing an RE right?  I definitely suggest speaking to them about this.  Something is weird - and if the tests are negative then you're not pregnant.  You probably need an ultrasound or something done that none of us can help you with.  Call your doctor tomorrow first thing.
