LO has beed extremely fussy the last 2 days. Shes 9 weeks almost 10weeks. I have no idea whats wrong. Shell only nap for 5 min not on me, so i havent been able to put her down. Even holding her shes been screaming.
Well mom and i had a haircut tonight, LO was so entertained by the mirrors and lights so she was happy. Mom offered to babysit so me and DH could go get something to eat. So i sent him a text to let him know.
He tells me where were going is a suprise. So we show up at this speakeasy bar ive been wanting to go to, and to make it even better, he texted my best friend of 25 years who i dont get to see near as often as id like and her husband and they met us there!
The bar is super cute, you have to know someone who knows how to get in. Theres no signs from the street. Its in a buildong thats marked as a youth center and the windows are all covered with mewspaper like its abandoned. You walk in and need to know which book to pull to open the door
Its set up like an old living room. The waitstaff is allwearing 20s/30s clothes. Theres no tvs and no "bar". Its dim and light music and couches and armchairs. Its pure conversation and they have all the old prohibition drinks.
So i got to refresh and enjoy some adult interaction.
