Contractions

I've had 2 official contractions. One was a few weeks ago and the other was at midnight last night. So so painful and my body went into uncontrollable shakes as a response to the pain. I thought I might be going into labor but it was just the one contraction. I'm 36+3 and really hope he stays put a while longer. Anyone else having contractions yet? I'm so terrified to give birth'

    I have 1-2 every hour but they are only Braxton hicks. They are uncomfortable and I have to breath through them but not painful. This is my third baby so I know how painful those real ones can get.

    I'm 37 yesterday and have been having them since 34. They are sporadic and painful but usually last only about a minute.

    I've had little ones.
    Except for last Wednesday at (36 and 2days) I was on the way to my doctors appointment (20mins from my house) I had 4 on the way there... Then they stopped.
    My OB checked my Cervix and I was dilated to a 1cm - after I left I had 2 more throughout the day - I was doing a lot more than I usually do that day- I got home had 1 more big one ten it stopped...

    None since.....

    I had six hours of contractions when I was dehydrated from food poisoning, I would assume they were mild. They were every 5-8 minutes and just reminded me of period cramps. I know they were "real" contractions because I was on a monitor.

    I've been having braxton hicks contractions for months now. My doctor said that I have an irritable uterus. I was in L&D about 5 or six weeks aho and having true contractions (hooked up to the monitor) because of dehydtation but wasnt progressing and they were able to stop the contractions.

    It doesn't take much activity to cause my contractions and today they are much worse than they typically are. I know I'm slightly dehydrated so between trying to remedy that and relaxing on the couch I'm hoping that tomorrow will be a better day. I'm not ready for L&D yet. I'm only at 35w5d but I have a history of preterm birth so I know it could be any day now.
