Hi everyone! I'm so glad to have found this group. Ttc is hard! DH and I have been ttc for roughly 2 1/2 years.
Well, we found out the horrible news today that our IUI failed. Waiting 18 days for the beta test was an ETERNITY and I really thought this was the lucky cycle. AF showed up just hours before my RE called with the negative test results so at least I was prepared. We are pretty bummed about it though.
I have PCOS and my husband has the sperm of 5 healthy men. So that means it's my issues that are causing the infertility. Luckily, he has never blamed me for it but I still feel guilty about it! I almost never ovulate on my own but have been, however, cursed with random "periods" that come and go as they please, sometimes twice a month or once every 3 months. This went on until starting Femara several months ago. I was on chlomid before that with no results.
We are working with a wonderful RE. Sunday marks the start of my 9th round of fertility medications. I'm taking 10mg for 7 days instead of 5 days. We discovered last cycle that 10mg was the magic number and finally got me an egg. So, fingers crossed and I look forward to meeting you all!
