Baby Names

ava or anna ?

So this is just for fun because my SO and i officially started trying just tonight. But I love coming up with baby names. We hope we get pregnant with a little girl, however it honestly doesn't matter as long as my little nugget is happy as ever, healthy as a bean and as adorable as I bet he/she will be.
So as far as girl names go... I really like Ava and Anna comes in second. BUT I would prefer a longer name.. like avalyn. Or annabell. But nothing seems to jump out at me. Middle name will probably be claire. And last name is Lewiston ( not really, but close lol )

From expert tools at baby name wizard I put in must contain Anna:
    Annalise
    Gianna
    Shanna

Many more ideas on there of course.
    Avalie
    Avalon
    Myava

  • Rosanna Claire is lovely. Also suggesting Susannah and Pollyanna. Or what about Anna Claire as a double first name?

I prefer Anna. If you want a longer name then consider a double name... Anna Claire, Anna Leigh, Anna Marie, Anna Kate, Anna Jane, Anna Paige, etc.

  • I am a bit biased but, I love Anna! She also goes by Annie. The above PP has a great idea with pairing your two names together. Anna Belle, Anna Elise, or Anna Brooke, would be great too! Ava was a close second, so either are beautiful!
  • I love Ava and Anna. Names like Avalyn, Annabelle, Emmaline just don't appeal to me. I think Ava Claire or Anna Claire are lovely. Either would make a great double name too, if that appeals to you.
