December travel!

We're taking our very first trip to Orlando this holidays and it will be my son's first time in a plane! I'm excited, we've been waiting for this trip for a while and it will be especially because my baby boy is here with me!! Anyone traveling this December!? If so where are you heading!?

We r traveling to Utah and I am nervous!!! So many things I have been thinking about...of course getting through the airport and the flight and how I hope DD cooperates (it's not during her usual nap times : /) and the biggie is of course her sleeping. Is she going to sleep there and when we get home will she go back to sleeping in her crib fine again ahhhh just a lot of anxiety haha but I am sure everything will be fine and work itself out.

We live in Texas and are flying to California for Christmas. We just flew to Utah for Thanksgiving and LO did great! I am looking forward to this trip because she did so well the first time (even though she had shots the day before we left!) Now I am just worried about the 2 hour time change and how to handle her schedule. Utah was only 1 hour different so we left it the same.

We aren't flying but we are headed to Lake Tahoe, CA next week and it is a 5 hour drive. I am nervous about how she will do. We have never gone more than an hour from home and she usually sleeps the whole time. But with such a long drive I don't know how I will keep her occupied in car seat for so long

We are in Naples, FL right now! Sadie took her first plane ride with us from Boston on Wednesday night. She did very well and we lucked out with a flight that wasn't full do they let us have a whole row to ourselves and they let us take her car seat on for free . It's definitely a little more stressful traveling with an infant, but so worth it. What airline are you flying? We did non-stop JetBlue and they were very accommodating

I'm also flying with JetBlue non stop from Baltimore to Orlando. It's my first time flying with them and my first time traveling with my son but I hear their airplanes have more leg room than other airlines. We're really excited and I'm really hoping all goes well also

We are in Atlanta and will be flying to Phoenix. This is our second trip with Mia. We were in Europe for 3 weeks when she was 10 weeks old. I'm a little nervous now that she is super alert and very active. I guess I'll just have to see what happens.

For all the mamas that have traveled through plane:: does the airline's allow the car seat only or can you take the base too!?

We flew Delta, and they checked the base for free then gate checked the carseat for free. We just had to pickup the base at the baggage claim.
