Is anyone else curious about the average show time? I had my son when I was 24, just a little over six years ago. With him I didn't show significantly until 6.5-7months. I had a 2nd pregnancy in August, however we lost it (Ectopic Rupture). I am now 5w2d and all of a sudden my stomach seems to have popped overnight. I thought maybe it was just mommy brain or bloating, but even my husband has noticed enough to comment unsolicited!!! Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm typically moderately fit, at 5'6", 130#.

I didn't pop until 3rd tri last time. I've heard you show sooner with subsequent babies though so this should be interesting!

I'm a FTM and I've definitely notice at least some form of bloating and so has DH, but it's not super noticeable as I'm short and little pudgy..

I didn't really look pregnant with DD until 5/6 months. Around 4months I just looked like I had a gut. Before that if I had a somewhat baggy shirt on you couldn't tell I am pregnant. I've also heard after 1, you start showing sooner too. I am just showing bloat now.

I started showing last time around 17ish weeks.  Looking back at my week by week pictures it was really obvious at 20 weeks.  I think that was the first time a stranger actually noticed.  I have heard that you show earlier with your second pregnancy....so we will see!

With my 2nd it was obvious by 12 weeks.

With my 3rd, someone told me at 9 weeks that I must be due any day now.

With baby 4, four people I don't know have approached me this week to ask if I'm pregnant.

I don't think we'll be able to hide this for long.

With my first it was about 6 months, my second at 16 weeks I had a perfect bump. I'm anxious to see with this one

I'm afraid of how early I will show, i have a feeling it will be before the 12 week mark since this is my third. I didn't show til 5 or 6 months, at least not super obvious, and with my 2nd I don't remember. It was earlier, but not too early. But it's a good thing it's winter, I can just live in sweatshirts and hide it for a while

With my first it was around 16 weeks, my second was stirring up office chatter around 10 weeks. I am really hoping to keep this one hidden until 12 weeks, but I don't know how likely that will be.

i'm really curious about how early i will show- this is my first, and i've had an abdominoplasty so my abs and skin are super tight.  i'm concerned that there won't be much laxity and i'll be very uncomfortable once i start showing.

I'm on added progesterone which makes you bloat so I'm definitely feeling like I'm showing. However, I'm only 4 weeks 1 day.

First time around I started showing around 16 weeks. I'm guessing it will probably be earlier this time since it's my second, but then again I still haven't lost all my baby weight from the first so I look pudgy anyway. I hated the 12-16 week phase where people couldn't tell if I was just getting super fat or if I was pregnant!

I thought that was a fun stage. I worked at a daycare and saw the same parents every day so it was fun to catch them looking at my belly but be afraid to say anything. I wish I knew what they were thinking lol "is she just gaining weight?? Is she pregnant??"

@andrea0918 I actually thought about telling people I wasn't pregnant last time just to see the reaction haha

And @DragonMom2 yeah you just kind of have to fully commit when you are just basing it off the way they look! Like, "oh your bump is just so cute!" That way if they aren't pregnant at least you were kind of giving a WEIRD compliment haha and if they are then they think you are being kind instead of asking "are you pregnant bc you've gotten bigger....".

I was really showing by 4/5 months with my first. I'm hoping to make it to at least 12 weeks without it being really obvious this time. DS was born in March though, so I'm kind of hoping to get some use out of my winter maternity clothes, so I guess showing earlier wouldn't be so bad.

I didn't show until somewhere in my third trimester the first time? I never looked pregnant enough to be pregnant though weirdly.

This time, I am significantly heavier than I was my first pregnancy, but I still have not 'popped' a belly.

I have a bad feeling I am going to "show" early. There is already a bit of bloat going on....My jeans button with out even a little bit of issue, but usually its completely flat above the waist band. There is about an inch and a half of "out" right there. Not around the sides, Just a little tiny little bloated bump. Sigh.

Unfortunately I already look like I'm 4-5 months in and I'm only 6.5 weeks. I've always gained weight in a way that resembles pregnancy and was about 15 lbs overweight when I got pregnant. The insane bloating has made my pudge way more noticeable. I had to tell my work the other day about being pregnant and I'm pretty sure they don't believe I'm less than 2 months in. I made my bff be honest with me and she said I look like I'm pretty far along already.

Any other tall mommas out there? I'm 5'11" and have a feeling I'm just going to look slightly chubby until the third trimester.

I started really showing right around 4-5 months with my first.  I hear each one you show a little earlier so we'll see how it goes this time around for me.

 @BritMCotter That is my problem too!  I always gain weight in my tummy, nowhere else.  So maybe people will just think I've put on a few holiday pounds!  I am so bloated right now but my stomach is oddly rock hard.  It makes jeans so uncomfortable... forget all the adorable tight skinny jeans I used to wear.

This is my 3rd, and we already know we can't hide this past Christmas (8 weeks). I'm at 6 weeks 2 days now, and the bloating has reduced, but my lower abdomen up to my navel looks like it is all uterus (I realize it isn't actually that high yet). I look bigger though, because everything else has moved up. What was me looking pudgy last week is now definitely a rounded bump. I am no longer wearing even my big jeans! Showed after 12 weeks with first, and I believe it was around 10 with number 2.
