Anyone experience bad gas after taking fenugreek. TMI but my farts are horrible! I think the two are related.

Yes! It makes my daughter gassy and irritable as well. I just read somewhere that is why they recommend taking blessed thistle with it. I definitely notice an increase in breasmilk with the fenugreek but the I don't like seeing her uncomfortable. I ordered the blessed thistle, I'll let you know if I see a difference!

My baby was so gassy while I was taking it. I didn't even realize there was a connection between the 2 until it was unbearable the it was like "ding" and I stopped and the gas stopped.

I take fenugreek, blessed thistle and Brewers yeast together.. The fenugreek and blessed thistle had no side effects for us, but initially the Brewers yeast made me gassy. LO hasn't been any more gassy than usual. It depends on your body and your babe's. The combo of all 3 has made a huge difference for us. Good luck!!

I used this supplement with my first son, we didn't experience any side effects with it. However it made me smell like maple syrup! I stopped taking after a short while because it didn't even increase my supply.
