We did this at the OB office last time (for $60), but this time, we found out that one of the "boutique" places (with excellent reviews) had a Black Friday sale for a gift card to do it for $35... So, why not? We're going next month.
With DD, we didn't get it early to determine sex, but we did get an elective 3d ultrasound to see her face. I thought it was a sweet experience and DH loved it. He's very impatient and suggested we go to determine sex this time, but I think we'll just save the money.
