Blood test concerns

Hi ladies, I had a blood test yesterday to confirm pregnancy and the test said that I'm about 2-3 weeks along. My last period started Nov 9th and I've been charting where I show ovulation around Nov 24th. With that, shouldn't I be about 4 weeks pregnant? I did have a miscarriage and D&C late September so I know it can throw off the next couple of cycles, but I still think I should be closer to 4 weeks along. Have any of you experienced this? It's kind of worrying me.

Do they mean 2-3 weeks gestation time? That would be from when you ovulated. My doctor's office usually does it that way. I would call and ask.

My guess is also that they mean 2 weeks gestation which puts you at 4 weeks pregnant. Did they want to repeat the labs? What was the level?

The results on my blood work are also listed based on gestational age not LMP. They also say that the number isn't necessarily what's important but more that it's increasing at a certain rate. I would give the office a call to clarify.

Thanks ladies. My Dr actually called to clarify that she meant gestational weeks. It was confusing because they always use my period date for appts and how far along I was, so she forgot to specify. Thanks ladies!
