Needing some advice! I've been co-sleeping with my daughter since she was about 3 weeks old due to both of us sleeping better that way. Recently she has been waking up every 1-2 hours to feed (I'm thinking it might be because she smells milk and wants a snack?) and we are no longer getting decent sleeps. We also just want the bed back to ourselves. My husband and I are trying to transition her back to the rock n play where she slept when she came home from the hospital. I started her on naps in the rock n play where she will sleep maybe 30 min at a time so far (with the rock n play in her room during the day). At night it's obviously more difficult to do this as she will last 30 min MAX in the rock n play and wake up crying and after 3 times of trying to put her back to sleep (white noise, swaddle, beside our bed in our room, my scent near the rock n play, and twilight ladybug.. Same as her naps) she is screaming and so hard to calm down. At what point do we stop trying at night to get her to sleep in the rock n play? Do we try all night or stop after a couple times? Or do I try to transition her slowly through nursing her to sleep and putting her in the rock n play in the middle of the night? Any advice is appreciated! We just really want to get out of the habit of co-sleeping, as nice as all of the cuddles have been.
