For the past two days I have been experiencing some sharp pains on the my left side but no bleeding or cramping. Is that normal? When I walk it helps to easy the pains?!? Should I be overly worried?
I've had a lot of pains that come and go so far on both sides. I called my doctor's office just because I wasn't sure what to think of them and they recommended alternating between heat and ice. Said it's just my body adjusting. It's eased up now so I rarely even think about it. If they're severe, I'd definitely call your doctor.

Since it's on your left, it could be gas. In general, it is normal to feel light cramping or stretching in your uterus throughout the first trimester.
Thanks ladies, I like coming here and asking my questions rather than google anything because then it just fills my brain with a lot of worry!!! This is my first pregnancy. It was unplanned but we are excited!!
I've been having those same pains except on my right side. I've just been assuming it's gas since the bloating is so bad this early. It's sharp but I don't think it's low enough to be my uterus. I'm glad you posted this because I was starting to get a little worried myself. But to see that others are experiencing it is making me think it's normal.
Can I ask where your pain is? I'm having similar pains mostly on my left but also a but on my right and its right next to my hip bones. Do you ladies think that still could be gas? It's kind of like a cramp/sharp pains that come and go. I called the doc and talked to the nurse and she is messaging the doctor to see if I can get the hcg blood test to see where my levels are to help rule out chemical pregnancy since I'm only 4+5 today.
I have also had alternating sharp pain. My SIL who is a nurse warned me about them before I could even tell her I was having them so it has eased my mind. She told me it's the uterus and ligaments stretching. However, talk to your doctor if it's really painful or if you are worried!
I've gotten them too since I was 2 weeks pregnant (didn't know I was at the time!). I remember having these when I was pregnant with DD, mostly when I stood up it's almost like a light stab in the ovary. They are called "round ligament pains". Uterus starting to adjust for new baby )
