Hello, we have a feisty pup (terrier mix, 10 lbs., 2 years old) and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on getting your family pet ready for the new addition.

No advice, but you may want to consider changing your name.  It's hard to keep up with Knottie123456789 and that's just kinda the standard name they pass out.  It makes it easier to keep up with you and remember you with a unique name.  You can change by logging into TheKnot.com or email a moderator.

My recommendation is to have someone watch the dog for a few days while you acclimate. My dog was a maniac when he got home despite being normal usually, and we were so tired and out of sorts that it was overwhelming.
