Showing already.... first pregnancy.

I'm only 10 weeks and my family and friends have noticed my belly. Maybe I'm eating too much? I'm not a skinny girl I'm not way overweight either though just chubby. I hope there's not two in there. I don't have the space in my house! Anyone else showing early?

  • Now 12 weeks but I had a bump at 10 weeks also! It was pretty noticeable. I'm fairly slim but found I had a little pot belly very early on!
  • I'm sure it's mostly bloat ... And I'm in the same boat. Almost 11 weeks now and there's definitely a noticeable difference. My stomach has never been perfectly flat, but I never had a big stomach either...So it's easy to see a difference now. I haven't told anyone yet so lucky for me I don't live close to my family to see the my extra chub. Only my husband can see the difference, but I'm sure if I was around my grandmother she'd see something right away haha.
  • I wouldn't worry about multiples lol! With my twins (1st pregnancy) I was showing at 6 weeks. This time around I would say people could start to tell around 11 weeks to me, and I definitely have a stomach, thank you twin pregnancy lol!
  • I'm a FTM and I had to switch to maternity pants at 10 weeks - even though I'd only gained a couple of pounds, totally unexpected. It seemed like everything had just kind of shifted around in my belly region. We had our 12 week appointment today and the midwife said that it really just depends on your body - some pregnancies are just more prominent than others.
  • I'm 13+1 FTM, but I'm not showing yet. I'm a tad overweight, but I feel like my belly is shifting. I just look fatter, lol. I guess it makes hiding my pregnancy easier for work for now! I'm wearing maternity pants for comfort now though. Tight waste bands are a total no go.
  • This is my first pregnancy and I'm 14 weeks and have a small bump depending on what I wear you can definitely tell I'm pregnant. I've been using a belle band with jeans since 10 weeks lol.

  • I'm 13+6 now but have been wearing a belly band with my skinny jeans open and unzipped for over 2 weeks now. Definitely from week 10 it was mostly bloat. Even now I haven't gained a pound but my body wait is just shifting around and now I'm definitely showing.
  • I'm at 13 weeks and I'm at the stage where I'm not sure if I'm showing or if I'm just getting fat lol yay pregnancy!

  • This thread makes me happy. I've been in the maybe I'm bloated maybe I'm showing boat for a while. It's mainly bloating! I am 12 weeks FTM. The midwife showed me where the bump was at our first appt. I could defiantly see it but it was well below my waistband. The rest is just massive amounts of carbs :)

It's crazy to think in 8 weeks I may not be able to hide this anymore!!
  • I'm not showing at all but in the morning first thing I've got a firm spot on my right side just right of my belly button and lower. Its the same spot doctor felt for when he was using Doppler. Can't tell if this is baby or other organs or my imagination or what. I'm 12+2 now. Had my husband feel it this morning and he could tell the difference from my left squishy side and my right firm side.
  • I am 15+2 STM and am legitimately showing.  I'm 5'2", 117 pre-pregnancy and have gained 4 pounds. I work out regularly but mostly eat what I want (half quite healthy and half not to much). I have a real, actual pregnant figure already--maybe baby, maybe blump but I look PREGNANT!

  • FTM and 12 weeks 3 days and in maternity jeans already prob could have used belly band but the jeans were on sale and will last longer than the belly band. My bump might be mostly bloat but I look pregnant and my hubby and I love it! Even if it's a blump it makes this all feel so real! ❤
  • Whether it's bloat or something else there's is no question I look pregnant. I'm 13w3d and I have an undeniable belly that didn't exist pre pregnancy the way it looks now. I've only gained two pounds but there no semblance of being able to suck in.
  • I'm 13+2 and I think baby has displaced all my belly fat to outside my body so it's more noticeable. This makes it weird when people want to rub my belly and they're just patting the top of my food baby.

  • I'm overweight, 13+1, FTM who has only lost weight so far.

But about 2 inches under my belly button I've started a little bump that was not there before. My body is definitely changing and in fitted clothes I have a tiny little bump.

I can fit into pre-pregnancy pants but by the end of the day they are not comfortable so I am wearing the low pant elastic pants now.

  • I'm 12 weeks today and it seems like overnight I have a noticeable low bump. Thankfully it can be covered pretty well still. My middle started to get thicker at week 10 although I'd only gained 3 lbs.

  • I'm 15 weeks today,a FTM, and I still dont feel like I'm showing yet. I am slightly overweight but I actually lost a few pounds early on so I'm thinking that is probably why. I can't wait to look pregnant though!
  • I'm 13 weeks today and FTM. I don't feel like i'm really showing to others though I can see a difference. I'm still wearing my regular clothes, but i choose the more loose fitting stuff for comfort. So far I've gained 3lbs so i'm happy to stay on track with a healthy weight gain. I haven't worked out at all during the last few months, mostly because I just had 0 energy. BUT it's back to the gym for me now.
  • I'm 15 weeks and showing a lot now! I feel like I look thinner than before pregnant, though. My legs and butt have always been thinner than my belly, and now my belly fat looks like part of my bump. So I'm feeling like I look good!
  • I know mine is most likely just bloat, but as a STM, it's round. So, I'm throwing good taste to the wind and embracing all things maternity. I'm 12+2 and have gain 6 lbs. All my pre-pregnancy clothes still fit everywhere but my middle. It is all right in front below my belly button. I feel like I look 4-5 months pregnant and I'm going with it.
  • I'm 12 weeks now and since 8-9 weeks have been so uncomfortable in my regualr clothes. I just stocked up on maternity pants and what a diff! so comfy! I'm on the thinner side overall but def have a belly going on now. have been sticking to extremely long and baggy shirts bc you can def see a bump there !
  • Second time mom and 12 weeks, 5 days. I'm not overweight, but I've actually lost weight this pregnancy. I def have a belly. I was on vitex until 9 weeks and once I got off that, my blump went down but in the past week or so, it's popped back out. I can't wear my work suits anymore w/o a Bella band. I've been wearing maternity jeans for comfort.

  • I'm FTM at 12 weeks and had to start wearing a belly band full time at 10 weeks! I haven't gained any weight (have been too sick to eat much!) but looks like things are shifting around. People have commented about showing so early, but I just shrug it off.. Everyone's body is different! :)
  • I'm overweight and go back and forth trying to decide if it's blump or bump. I've always carried the extra weight in my butt and thighs but now there's definitely a belly sticking out to go along with it. I'm 13+3 FTM so I'm sure it's probably more flub from cravings but when I wear maternity pants, it smooths my belly so I look quite pregnant so I'm just going with it. I'm very nervous about being overweight, but my BP is absolutely excellent, did a glucose test last appointment and passed with flying colors so I'm trying to hate myself a little less for the extra padding :/

At 13 weeks STM, I am in maternity pants and not looking back.  Totally different from my first pregnancy.  I have a noticeable bump and I hate having it constrained.  We're having a casual day at work and I'm LOVING being at my desk in maternity jeans rather than stupid too-tight tights.
  • I'm nearly 14 weeks and def showing although I've been eating so much chocolate over the last week some of it might just be a chocolate bump :)
  • 15 wks today and totally feel like my belly popped out over night. Lol I can my feel where my uterus is now over my pelvic bones and thinking we are officially starting to show. :) It's a tad bit sooner than it was with my DS. I can still wear my pre prego jeans but they are getting snug.

I'm right there with you girl. I got pregnant at my heaviest weight ever... I've consistently woken up and hated on myself mentally and verbally daily because I hate the way I look in a mirror lately. I have to fight to make the choice daily to speak LIFE into this pregnancy and that my feelings towards my body.. the baby can feel and sense. All I care about is that I keep this little girl safe... I'll continue to try to eat as healthily as I can and then worry about losing the weight once she's safely in my arms. Not much we can do about the extra padding now but just embrace it. Lol

Awww thank you! I absolutely love this BMB... So many of you have given me such hope, encouragement and peace through things that I'd have no clue how to deal with alone. Women can be such wonderful support systems for each other.

I'm lucky that my husband doesn't see me the way I see me. He sees his sexy wife with his baby in her belly and he loves me so unconditionally. I'm very grateful for that too. I think that this baby will just end up changing my outlook on my weight in the future for the better. I want my daughter to grow up loving herself... She shouldn't see or hear the horrible things I tell and say about my own body daily. It's important that I get healthy but most importantly not to teach my daughter to live like I tend to. My mom has sat down and cried next to me after hearing me verbally put myself down... She apologized for being the person who showed me how to do it by watching and listening to her all those years. I won't do that to my daughter.

Thank you for the hug this morning.. I appreciate it more than you know!!! ❤️
