Names you can't/won't use

What are the names that you can't or won't use for LO? (either due to association or rhyming, etc)

My husband is against all "B" and "T" names

Braelynn (niece)
Braxton (nephew)

Tenley (cousin)
Tansyn (cousin)

ETA: Charlie... my last name is Brown, so that would be a little cruel.

I personally am not going to use anything that's been in the "Top 100" anytime in the past 10 years. Obviously a lot of people like those names, but I don't want my kiddo to be like me and have a billion other people in their grade/class with their name. 

Specific names we won't use are: James/Jim (my g-pa is a James and is a horrible person), Everly (while I think it's a super cute name, I know a Beverly who's a witch and Everly is way too close).

Nothing with any sort of biblical link. We aren't a particularly religious lot. 

We've actually had baby's middle names locked down for a few years as well as our girl's name. A boy name is the only thing we're up in the air about.

Any name where I have any sort of association IRL. I have issues with samienamies because in my family everyone is named after everyone. I can't deal.

So, I love country names and absolutely love the name Dixie for a girl. Of course, I would never name my child Dixie because that would make for some hellish nicknames through middle school and high school. If only kids weren't so mean sometimes...

Anything with a really ridiculous spelling, especially common names with lots of letters added unnecessarily. DH and I are both teachers, and we have to suffer through pronouncing some real doozies. It sucks to see a kid who dreads being recognized because no one can pronounce his or her name.

Also because we have to see the consequences as teachers, we'll stay away from popular names (he had three students named Unique last year...the irony) and a few with negative associations.

We have a name nailed down for a boy. Girls are so much harder for me. Every girl name I like, someone in our family used it for a dog.

I can't sit down with my child 10 years later and go...oh by the way, you were named after this dog my grandma had. Sorry!

Sarah and Mary. When I was younger, my best friend and I made a pact to never name our child these names based on people we knew. I also know way too many people with those names. My sis in law is also a Sarah, so I feel like I wouldn't wanna steal her name either.
