Hey ladies! I hope you all have been doing well!
I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with constant anxiety over terrible things. I can't watch the news anymore and the comercial for the new season of American Crime where the mom screams my son was raped, plays over and over in my head. I am constantly worrying about him being a victim of a violent crime. I find that some days it consumes me.
I am sure that I should go speak to a doctor about this but what I am wondering is how you ladies cope with the world. It is such a big scary place and there is so much that can go wrong. How do you brush it aside and move along or even have additional kids. I wanted to have a football teams worth but now I constantly live in fear and I think I am so selfish for bringing another person into this world.
Help please!

or maybe I'm just too lazy/laid back of a parent. I don't really worry about L because if something were to happen, I can only deal with it then.

Mine got a lot better when my family offered to watch LO overnight so I could catch up on sleep. If that's available to you, I recommend you let family help. A couple pills and switching from EP and FF to just FF helped me also, but everyone is different!
Other things that helped: making time for sexy time with DH.
I really hope you get to feeling better soon<3

It's not that I don't acknowledge that the world can be a dangerous place, but it doesn't preoccupy my waking thoughts or anything.

Try to avoid watching news, violent Tv shows and movies, as I find that you can get too focused on awful things that way. I no longer watch anything with violence because I know I can't get some of those things out of my mind.
It's normal to worry about your LO but not to the point that it is crippling you. Hope you find your doctor is helpful and you can get some peace!
I still want more. We have two. Whenever it happens it happens..
