Work from home LPNs

So I've been thinking of our financial situation a lot lately and costs of day care, etc. I know I still have time but I like to plan and check out my options. The cost of day care will be based off our pay, the more we make the more expensive it is for day care. I have heard there are some medical work from him jobs and wanted to see if any of you have these jobs or know of people who do? I am an LPN based in NC. Even if it's not a nursing job I know other companies may hire someone with a medical background to work from home. I feel I may not have good luck finding a job like this but may be worth trying after baby is here. (This is only 1 of 25286432 things on my mind right now... Sigh)

So I'm not very familiar with day care costs in NC but I do know that the company I work for hires LPN's for our clinics. Most of our clinics are open Monday through Saturday and our nurses rotate schedules between 4, 10 hour shifts and 3, 12 hour shifts. Depending on the rotation for the week you might only need day care two to three days that week (don't know if that's an option for you still). But if you want more information, send me a private message and I'll send you the career link to take a look at! Good luck!

  • I'm actually a recruiter in healthcare and there are several nurses that work from home. They are all non clinical. Look into chart auditing, telephonic case management or HEDIS. Mainly commercial insurance companies hire for these types of positions. Hope that helped!
