Welcome new mamas!

There seems to be some newbies in the past week or so- welcome and congrats!! If you haven't done so already take a scroll through past posts to get a feel for the community. This is an amazing place, and we are all here to support each other. We have some fun daily threads such as hdbd ( hump day bump day) which is were your weekly bump pics should be posted, and today is UO Thursday ( unpopular opinions- it's a fun thread but can sometimes get a bit heated but it's all in good nature). 

 We try to keep the board organized.. One way of doing this is to post ultrasound pics in the designated US thread. Having a boy? Amazing- but it doesn't need it own thread. There is a thread for that Want feedback on a name? Please use the name thread. The search function is your friend

Lastly, the community around the bump in general doesn't love "guess the sex of my baby" posts. We don't know how to read ultrasounds and most of us don't want to "Ramzi you". Just a warning before you post something like this as it tends not to go over well. 

So jump right on in! Can't wait to get to know you and celebrate your new addition with you

 oh and we like a good gif and chicken nuggets.

@kbrands7 is a tremendous wealth of knowledge!! She is an incredible asset to the community (as well as every other STM who has given their suggestions based on experience. Without them, I know I would be lost in this sea of babyville)

Thanks, coolest! I'm not super entertaining, but I try to be helpful. Shout out to the other STM, TTM...ETM etc. with a wealth of information too!

I work with kids doing in-home therapy.  Tonight the client wanted to play McDonald's Drive Thru all night....I kept ordering the chicken nuggets....

OH! One more point to add...

The report button is not a "dislike" button, and should only be used for MAJOR TOU violations (ie, harassment, calling someone a b*tch, etc). It should not be used just because you don't like something someone says. For many of us, TB is our only outlet for all things pregnancy related. I know for myself, I really rely on the forum to discuss everything as I don't want to inundate friends and family with every baby related thought I have. When you report someone, they get a warning. Three warnings and you are banned. So please think about that before reporting, as you might be getting someone that really needs the boards, or is an establilshed member to the community, banned. Which isn't cool...

Never got a confirm request for reporting or anything like that, so always hope nothing is actually happening when I do that... but anyway, be careful of your fat fingers and the poorly placed report icon on the mobile app!

I've done it too. Its very poorly placed. BUT I have a feeling it doesn't go through on mobile. If you report someone on a PC, a box pops up asking why you are reporting. That hasn't happened on mobile for me, which makes me think maybe you cant report on mobile??

I've heard that if you love the same comment you reported, it undoes it just in case it happens accidentally.

Do they investigate before warning/banning?

@doozier1345, they say they do, but I have talked to some other members (no longer here) who said they dont....
