Need to know if Eden Nanette sounds too forced... Been trying to honor a relative but we don't like Nanette for a first name and have had trouble with it as a middle. TIA!
Maybe Eden Anette? I know it is a family name but not so many n's so close together? How often do you say the full name anyway, if you do decide to use Eden Nanette it won't be terrible. They are both very nice names.
I agree, Eden is awesome and if Nanette has special significance then I think it's totally fine. It's not offensive the way it is, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice for a middle name with Eden, however I think family significance outweighs all that. I don't love my 1st and 3rd kids middle names with their first names but they have special family meaning. They aren't awful and I've never once regretted them.
I don't really like Nanette either, but it's not terrible in the middle name position. I wouldn't say it sounds "forced," it just wouldn't be on my top list.
Thanks, everyone! This helps me feel more confident in it if we decide to go with Nanette for a middle name spot! I just can't get off of Eden for a first name so I'm trying to make the names sound natural together in my brain! Lol Malachi (Kai) and Iris are going to mesh well with their new sister :-)
You'll be constantly telling people her middle name is not Annette. Say it aloud really fast. You'll see what i mean. The two names are nice. But they bleed together.
