Separation problems at night....

My little man is 8 months old and he is have horrible separation anxiety when I leave to take a shower at night has horrible crying fits. He's great when I go to work, but as soon as I get home he's attached to me. I love that he wants to be with me but I can't even go to bathroom with out him crying, also I feel bad for my husband he wants nothing to do with him. anyone else experiencing this?

My daughter was exactly the same up until 7 months. She is also 8 months old, she will scream until she is lay on me to go to sleep but night time was exactly the same! I couldn't get anything done. I told my partner he needs to be more involved with her. It got so bad I left the house and just let her cry herself to sleep while he had her. I felt like she needed to know that she can feel safe while she's with her dad as well as me. Since then we haven't had a problem! Be patient, it will all get easier!
