Oakland or San Leandro Kaiser for delivery?

So I live in Oakland, but am receiving prenatal care in San Leandro. I know the chances of my actual OB being there at my time of delivery is next to none so I'm not attached to any one location. I had our last in Oakland before the new hospital was built but I'm now wondering which location is best for L&D. I wasn't too pleased with my last experience but am now much more educated in childbirth. I also plan on having an unmediated birth so I'm wondering what others opinions are of these two locations. TIA

Hi! I just had a c section at the new kiaser Oakland building. The staff was very friendly and helpful I had no questions or concerns that were not addressed. If I had another child I would want to come back here.

Hi there!  My nephew was born at Kaiser Oakland 2 months ago.  It was a very positive experience for the whole family.  His mother also had an unmedicated birth and it was considered high risk only due to her age.  Good luck!
