ALEXANDER JAMES DUE JULY 15th!
As soon as I got my BFP on November 19th I called my doctor and they scheduled my appt. My OBGYN Office normally does appts between 8-10 weeks. However, due to my past pregnancy ending in miscarriage they wanted me to come in early. I had an appt scheduled for Thursday Dec 4th. But I started spotting on Monday night and called my OB the following morning and got in on their next open appt that day and everything was fine. I go back on the 17th for a follow- up appt to make sure everything is still measuring up. If all is well I go back at 12 weeks.

They don't do an u/s until the anatomy one at 18-20 wks but we can choose to have an early one. We are planning to ask for one at 12 wks - only because twins run in the family and we'd rather know sooner than later if that's our case!
On the plus side the farther along the more likley youll be to see the heartbeat and make out features.
I had my first one today at 9 weeks 6 days, and ill go back in 2 weeks. Anyways i hope they do call you and give you reasonable notice for your appointment and that you feel they are supporting you by providing care in a timely manner.
