I'm 38 weeks and 3 days and we are not finding out the gender of our baby. I have been so curious the past couple of weeks though

This is my 20 week ultrasound. Any guesses based on skull theory? Any ideas on how to induce labor?

Skull theory is proven to be inaccurate- it's a healthy looking baby so congrats on that. Also, you will know the sex soon enough!

No one here can tell you what the sex of your baby is for sure based on that picture. If you want to remain team green, just wait, if you want to find out, ask your dr. He/ she will be able to tell you what the sex is.

Uuuggggghhhhhh... You're in the 3rd trimester. You're not finding out but your curious and want to know now? Just a short time before delivery? With a profile u/s pic? Using "skull theory"? You want internet strangers to tell you? Either wait the short amount of time to deliver and find out or ask your doctor. No one can tell using a 50/50 chance "theory". It's a boy! Wait no, it's a girl! Oh, nope, sorry, it's a healthy baby! Yay! Congratulations!

Good grief, this post. Just go ask your doctor to look in the chart if you can't wait 2-4 more weeks. All my eyerolls.

I don't know why anyone asks other posters about the sex, we don't know especially from the image above. Only a trained sonogram technician or doctor can tell you if you want to know.

To me that looks like a head and not a crotch shot.  I'm guessing it's a baby.  Congrats!

Ideas on how to induce labor....DON'T. It will happen when it's supposed to happen or your doctor will talk to you about your options and (s)he will induce your labor if/when medically necessary.

also, please dont try to induce labor. baby will come when he/she is ready.

You can't tell a baby's sex (not gender) from skull shape. Sex-specific skull features (like jaw bone) don't define themselves until puberty.

You are only 38 weeks. 40 is considered full term now. Its best to let your baby have those extra two weeks. You would be so surprised at how much brain development baby gets those last two weeks. Give them that chance! Just wait.

Tch. I don't even know the gender of my LO, even after my Sonogram today. Which was my second one. They little Rugrat is shy, and hiding everything. Lol!

Chevk the internet,there my be a gender determination near you. They can show you what the sex of your jelly bean may be. Hope this helped.
