Oh god, I did not know that. This is one place where I feel like if you HAVE to use Max on a girl, at least have the decency not to give her the full and arguably even MORE masculine Maxwell.

I agree, I don't really like Max on a girl the same way that I like Alex or Sam.  I'm glad she (probably) has a longer, more feminine legal name.

I really do not love Max for a girl. Then again, I'm pretty sure this baby can still buy and sell me with her 1 percent of their estate, so I guess I had better zip it!

Don't like it... He totally ripped off Jessica Simpson who thought it was cool to name her kid Maxwell... I don't get this whole doing this just to be different (or not so different in the case of famous people).

Yup. I don't get the boy names for girls thing, although I guess it's been around for awhile since names like Lauren and Ashely used to be guys names.

He does drive a Volkswagen so I don't think he's too fancy. Maxima is a fun name. Also, totally off topic but their dog, Beast, is the most awesome looking dog ever.
