Re: ***3rd tri check in 11/30/15***
My appointments Wednesday and today went well, the countdown is on! Only 2 or 3 more weeks left, depending on how early they want to take them out. So real!
QOTW - Our house is completely decorated for the season and will remain this way until February as we are hosting a late Christmas for DH's side at the end of January.
I'm looking forward to creating more traditions with our little ones. I'd love to have matching Christmas pjs every year and continue to decorate our tree every black Friday while watching Home Alone.
I have an u/s 12-15 to check my placenta previa, at the last one it had moved but a couple of blood vessels were very active and close to the cervix so we have still been on pelvic rest and DH is so ready for that to be over!
QOTW: we do an elf, pretty much the same insane travel schedule each year, the basic cookies for Santa/stockings and decorations are UP!! I have more I could put up, but i am already dreading taking it all down!

Nothing much new here either. After last weeks scare, that is just fine with me. I have my 34 wk appt next Tuesday, so hoping everything stays calm until then.
Baby shower is this weekend! I'm grateful but also hate being the center of attention, so hopefully it's not too nerve wracking. My friends are great so I'm sure it will be fun.
QOTW: we aren't decorated yet, but I would like to get the tree up this week. We don't do much decor beyond that at the moment. I'm looking forward to holiday movies and Christmas morning with the little one. We always make a big breakfast and stay in pjs all day. We also usually get dressed and go out to a movie with some friends in the evening (20 years running) but I think this year might be the end of that for a while.

Christmas tradition- I want to bake and decorate sugar cookies like I did growing up using my grandmas recipe with my girls.
The other day a woman in line commented how good my 2 boys were being. I was in the middle of saying we were leaving the store early bc they were fighting in the isles and I look down and they are hugging and kissing each other!! Kids will never preform when you want them too and you will worry everyday about them. I am SOOOOO glad yours are kicking those sensors and y'all are all ok!! I hate that stress and definitely have those moments too of freak out!! You were right to go in so don't feel embarrassed!! Good mama already!!

Yesterday I felt that feeling which I didn't expect to feel.... I wanted this baby out! My body has gone down a gear, everything just kind of hurts now.
We also made a trip down to the hospital for exactly the same reason as @hopes4baby my little guy didn't move all evening so at 1am we went down to hospital and sure enough I hooked up to the monitor and he thumped it! I felt really silly, I was telling the midwife I have been waiting all night for him to do that!!! The staff were so good though they told me I absolutely should have come in and I was on the monitor for 30 mins. They were insisting that if I didn't feel him again to do the same thing, better to be safe.
Christmas for my husband and I has never really been consistent as we have never celebrated Christmas in the same place. We came up with one tradition was making up a 12 days of Christmas song but based on the country we are in! This will be the first one that we are in UK. We are spending it with my dad and two of my brothers. I'm looking forward to playing games with them as they are a nutty lot and I can imagine we will have some fun in the Xbox dance game. Last time we all played a number of years ago stil goes down as one of our funiest family memories. Hoping to recreate!
My appt Monday showed some minor swelling with an elevated bp and dizziness. I got dizzy again that night, we bought a bp machine thinking they'd want me to monitor it for awhile, had 2 bps around 150/94 and they had me come in for monitoring at around 9 pm. We came in, they started running tests and by Tuesday morning we were told I'd stay until they came, hopefully til 37w. Baby girl was measuring only 4th percentile and boy was 12 percentile, so they wanted a really close eye on them.
Late Tuesday night, my 24 urine test came back positive for preeclampsia and we awaited their decision. Wednesday morning, my ob came in and said that with the preeclampsia, small babies and other issues we have had, it was best to start the process. They let me decide c section or vaginal but warned me the little girl may go into distress due to size and position so I opted for c section to make sure all 3 of us were safe.
On Wednesday, 12/2 at 3:01 & 3:02 pm, our world became whole as they pulled out our little ones. She was 4 lb 5 oz, 17.25" & he was 5lb 05 oz, 18". She's been doing amazingly, even with being that small. He had breathing issues at the beginning and is now struggling with keeping a constant temp but they are doing amazing for being only 35w 4d in my belly. Hopefully only a week or so in the nicu before we bring them both home!
I wish you ladies a great ending to your journey. Holding them now makes all the pain and anguish completely worth it.
