Baby Shower Photos!

I know the board has been pretty slow due to the holiday weekend so I thought we could do something fun!  

I saw that the Jan16 ladies did this about a month ago with what the wore/were planning on wearing and I know a lot of ladies have already had their showers.   Would love to see pictures of your day/what you wore!

Here are just a few from mine! My SO's mom and sister did an AWESOME job, completely blew away our expectations. We had a Co-Ed BBQ! The weather was nice enough to be outside with the fire pit as well!

Had two showers in one weekend. So much fun and my hostesses decorated beautifully!!!

I had my shower 14 November and it was perfect! It was very simple and I wasn't overwhelmed by guest (I have a tad bit of anxiety...ok maybe a lot)

@kalenvan Me too girl... I have a ton of social anxiety when it comes to having things thrown for me in my honor haha.

My shower was 11/15/15. All my pictures are on my camera and I'm mobile, so I only have a "selfie" and the picture of our favors- little pies! The theme was fall, with little blue accents.

Sorry about the toilet in the background... Lol.

I had my shower on the 22nd, and it was great! I'm always so anxious at those types of things (I was a sweaty, nervous mess at my bridal shower) but I think I did okay. Got lots of awesome gifts, including these wooden blocks that DH's cousin made himself!

Woodland Theme! Had my shower first weekend in November! The picture next to the cake is my diaper cake!! My mom is very talented!!! I am leaving it as is and displaying it in Rocco's room!

I wanted to reveal the gender to family and friends in person (we live on the west coast they're on the east). So my husband and I found out right before I had a trip scheduled and I had the grandmas open a balloon box at a shower. The cake was made by my mil. And I ordered mini candles from etsy as favors.

My mom threw my shower for me in beginning of November and did an amazing job! She made all of the decorations herself and they can all be reused in the baby's nursery

We had a photo booth, games, a onesie decorating station, a taco bar, and tons of stuff set up in "stations" around the room to keep people busy, but at their own pace. If you want to eat or socialize with any one there, we didn't want to be interrupting you to play a game...the games were done independently and the answers were reviewed for winders towards the ends of the shower.

Our shower was on 11/21, we had such a great time with our friends and family and everyone was so generous! It put a huge dent in the things we need for baby

The theme of the shower was  " Baby its Cold outside!" However, mother nature thought it would be funny to make our Louisiana weather 75 degrees!

My sister in law threw a library themed baby shower for me because I hate themes, but we bonded when I first came into the picture by our love of books. Here are some of the photos, way too many were taken to show them all, but some highlights:

• All the food was based on books - the highlight was the cupcake topper - she ordered little pieces of fondant that were decorated with edible ink to look like book covers
• The guestbook was a copy of the first Harry Potter book for his collection
• We had two games - Guess the baby book by the cover (it was actually really hard! and reading some of the guesses were hilarious), and gift bingo. Everyone got into the bingo, so much that even after there was a winner they all kept playing!
  
• I was making truly heinous/hilarious faces throughout all the photos, and this one is my favorite
• Here is a good look of the outfit I wore
• and then last but not least, me with both Grandmas. My mom is on the left and my MIL is on the right. Both were repping Seahawks gear since our game just ended.

Shabby Chic was the theme for my baby shower. My bestfriend didn't miss a single detail she rocks.

@brushesnbrunch I wish I had thought about that. It was such a great evening. I was kind of horrified at that thought of 100 pics of my gigantic self....sweating and opening gifts but now I wish I had a few lol. ☺️

I'm ready for my shower to get here!  Its not till the 9th and I'm kinda stressed now having to wait so late to get gifts.  I'm waiting for the shower before I buy up anything else I need... its so last minute since I'm due the beginning of February.

@Cheryl Renee I am in the and boat. Shower is the 9th and due date is in early feb. hopefully all goes well and we don't go early. Lol

Mine was December 12th. My mom decided on a Chinese zodiac/monkey theme since he will be born the year of the monkey. Not as much family was able to make it into town as I had hoped due to it being so close to the holidays but we still had fun, and got a ton of gifts.
