Trying to Get Pregnant

Newbie intro

Hi Everyone.
I have been lurking for a while and have finally decided to introduce myself as it seems I am going to have to get "serious " about this TTC thing.
I was remarried in July and have 3 children from my previous marriage. I conceived relatively early in that marriage - 3 months- and never tracked my cycles before so this is all a little new and a lot overwhelming.
I am currently in my 5 month/6th cycle. I tried temping and was not very consistent so I moved to wondfos ovulation predictors but haven't had a solid positive with those either. I have already learned a lot from all of your posts and the saved posts and I will hopefully catch on to all of these acronyms soon.
Sorry for the long post, wishing you all luck in your TTC journey!

Re: Newbie intro

  • Welcome! There is a thread pinned at the top for Newbies which has all of the acronyms listed, I found it super helpful when I first came to this community!
I also recommend picking up a copy of Taking Charge of your Fertility. I'm sure you've seen how highly regarded it is around here while you were lurking. I can't say enough how enlightening it is!
I hope your stay here is short!

If I remember right you may have to message someone, like an admin in the community forums, via the Knot (the sister site to this one). I only mention it because there were a few catfish episodes recently on another site.

Also, here's how to change your SN:

If you would like to change your UserName or edit your general profile, you will need to log in to your account on TheKnot.com. You can use the same email and password that you would normally use to access TheBump.com.
While logged in to your account on The Knot, go to your Account Settings. This area will give you the option to review and change a variety of details for your profile, including your UserName.

I had to change mine before I started posting on here because my SN was still my first and maiden name from when I used the Knot.
