So I am a new mommy and I am so insanely excited for this new chapter in my fiances and my life... But I cant help but go through stages whereI have all the confidence in the world with the arrival of our baby girl and then I have my days where im scared shitless like I wont have any idea what to do !!!
Please tell me you mamas go through this too and what do you all do to help with knowledge, tips, tricks, preperation etc!!!!!
It's completely normal. Honestly, if you're not at least a little afraid, probably something is wrong with you. Don't worry though.. so much of it will come naturally/instinctively, and you will have plenty of doctors to talk to when issues arise. Plus you can always ask questions here/on the other boards. It will be totally fine.

Ahhh thank you I am going to accept all the advice and help anyones gives me. I just need to trust that my instincts will be good to me just a little nervous I want to be the best mom possible.
I was honestly more worried about my husband because I had lots of experience with kids and he had none... and it was amazing how he just sort of knew what to do.

My finace I feel will be like this as well seeing him with our friends kids he is so patient , interactive , attenitive hes a natural it seems I guess we really do have those instincts . thank you for your feedback its great to know im not alone !
I lose my mind at least every other day - it's like riding a roller coaster. I'm either so ecstatic my feet barely touch the ground or so scared that I stare at my growing stomach and cry because I feel inadequate.
Honestly, I think about all the shitty mothers I know and it makes me feel better that if they are able to produce happy, healthy kids, then I'll probably be ok.
Honestly, this feeling never really goes away! There are times that I have so much confidence and feel like I'm doing a great job as a mom, but most times I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing! It's totally normal.
But when the baby finally comes, you'll just know what to do. Mostly just hold them and love them, and feed them when they're hungry.

True true. I actually thought parenting was super easy when I had a newborn. Now that I have a toddler, it keeps getting harder, haha. But still amazing.

I've had two babies already and I'm still experiencing the same thing you are. One moment I'm ecstatic, the other moment I'm freaking out because it's been 5 years since I've had a newborn! I think it's normal. I just try to remember that my other two are amazing so I'm doing something right lol
I'm a STM and I'm still nervous! Every baby is different so I don't know what to expect with this one. One piece of advice I can give is follow your instincts. It will take a bit of time to "know" your baby but listen to your gut. it comes pretty naturally.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, leave baby in a safe place (crib) go in another room, take some deep breaths and go back. It will help with crying bits when you feel helpless. Taking a breather will give you the mental break needed to figure out what the baby needs/wants.
I second what @AmadorRose said. Most days I am so excited to become a mother, other days I am freakin out because I am scared and anxious of this huge change in my life. I want to be the best mother I can be, and I know I will be able to but it's quite terrifying and overwhelming at times and I think that is perfectly fine. As pp mentioned, we have each other for support and we can do this!
