Mucus plug?

For two days I've had this gooey discharge a little green color but mostly clear it looks like a big gob of snot sorry if that sounds nasty it's just the closets resemblance. But today a big glob came out but there's still no blood is it the mucus plug ?or does it have to have blood?does this mean I'm closer?

It could be. It doesn't have much to do with how close you are to actual labor, as the mucus plug can regenerate several times before you actually give birth. It also doesn't always contain blood.

Monday im 40 weeks so I'm hoping it gets moving along I just got checked Tuesday and I was only one cent dialted

Green made me worry because normally green discharge can imply infection. But I did a quick google and apparently what you've described is totally typical and normal! It sounds like the plug.
