Carter's Outlet Question

Do any of you have a Carter's Outlet near you? Is it worth it to hit up the outlet (better pricing/sales)?

I need to go get a few more baby clothes items and I usually just shop at Target or BRU. Often they have great sales on Carter's stuff (and other brands). But, I just remembered we have a Carter's Outlet not too far away and I'm wondering if I can get better prices driving out there to look? When I say not far away, I mean about a half hour so I'd rather not actually drive out there if I'm not positive I'm going to get better deals.

I see better pricing on Carter's at Kohls than I do at the outlet.

Carters always has coupons available so it actually ends up being cheaper to shop at their regular stores or online. Right now they are doing 50% off on everything and usually they have an extra 25% off coupon on their website.

We have an "outlet mall" with a Carters here and it's not outlet at all. It's the same as a regular store. Agree with PP, Carters always seems to have at least 40% off items and then has 25% off purchase of 40+ or 15% off your entire purchase. Carters is where we have purchased a significant amount of our LO's clothing.. They have 60% off for Black Friday along with $5 dollar door busters and $8 sleepers

We lived like a mile from a huge outlet mall when we lived in VA and I lived at the Carter's Outlet... not sure how it compares to a regular carter's store since I only have shopped at the outlet. I have checked out the Carters section at Kohls and I found the outlet prices to be a lot better than Kohl's. I haven't been to the Carter's store here in NY since it's about a 30-45 minute drive and I've bought most stuff for DD second hand.

I have a Carter's outlet down the street, and the prices are the same as online or regular store i'm guessing. Be sure to sign up for their coupons though, cause they ALWAYS (like every week) have sales.

Agree - the coupons on top of the sales and then if you get the reward dollars too you can get a pretty good haul for not a lot of money!

Oh yes, the reward system! You earn $10 for every $75 spent.. I think it's a pretty good deal. Carters is my weakness lol

Skip it, same prices as thier online store. Also you can't use the coupons on door busters typically, so if you are scoring that $8 fleece sleeper, it won't count towards it!

I only shop at our Carters outlet off season, I can generally get some good stuff then, otherwise I do as the pps and shop the regular store during sales and with coupons.

I shop at carters online and typically get 40-60% off (they have sales for every holiday the calendar lists). I've been to a carters outlet but I prefer just ordering it online. It is cheaper on the website with their almost constant sales than any variation of carters I've seen elsewhere (target, kohls and babies r us all carry it some with a private label). They just introduced a rewards program too.

We live near one.  We found that its a better deal to buy at outlet not on clearance using coupon AND rewards programs.  Also Carters is not the same at all locations they make cheaper lower quality products to sell at Kohls and Baby R Us.  Macys,Buy Buy Baby and Carter Stores/Outlets are the same quality.  When Macy's have a sale, the prices are the same as the outlet but you can't get rewards points!

@taylovesbrad FTM but from what I've read the original carter's brand is supposed to run big (not sure about the special versions they do for other retailers).

Someone told me they run small but I don't know how true that is since I'm a FTM.
