  • I think most of us aren't there yet

  • My little guy is 12-1/2 weeks now and I noticed a few things! All of a sudden one night last week he was able to stay up on his arms during tummy time and hold his head up for a really long period of time, and he rolled over from belly to back for the second time (the first was really early at 6 weeks). He also is really great at holding objects now, and is super smiley when you talk to him. And he's more fascinated with lights than ever.

He had a rough week last week in regard to sleep at night, but he seems to be coming out of it now, thank goodness!
  • Lo is 12 1/2 weeks here too. He also is really smiley, and happy. He likes to "stand up" with us helping him. As well as he plays by himself a lot longer and can entertain himself a lot more. =)

  • We're through the wonder week here too. She's so much more fun now! Smiling and kicking and holding her head up like a champ. She also loves to stand assisted and will pull herself up from propped on the boppy using my hands for support. And, oh, the ceiling fan love! It's so cool to see her watching and processing the world. She's really into rock music too and had a preference for classic male vocals. It's my favorite!
  • Same as PPs. @cmlsu my DS loves the fan too! Here is a pic I took of him while he was "playing" with it.
  • Aw! So far just the same. Smiles and gets excited a little at 11 wks. Can't wait to see the transformation Over the next week

  • My LO is 12 weeks as of yesterday and I have to agree with pp that he is more fun. He smiles way more now, he loooves to play in the tub. He will lay in his mesh sling and splash with his hands and feet like crazy. He is also better about entertaining himself while awake (like I can lay him on his play mat while I do dishes and he doesn't get mad nearly as quick unless something is legitimately wrong.)

  • I think my guy went through his early. His sleeping patterns have been weird and he's been fussier, but now he pretty much holds his head up very steadily all the time on his own. He can pull himself up into a sitting position and when we hold him he stands up. He is constantly looking at lights and patterns. He's making new noises as well. The only thing he's not doing is grasping toys although he does like grabbing at blankets and pulling them around. Since he likes standing so much and can hold his head up we are going to get him a bouncy chair for Christmas, which I think he'll love because this baby cannot sit still or lay down, he's pretty much ready to run! I can tell he's going to be a handful when he's a toddler.

So, today she did a forward somersault out of her boppy. She's not rolling tummy to back or vice versa yet, but the girl is working those abs! It took me off guard as she tumbled into my lap. I took a picture of her right before, but wish I was videotaping!
