How are you feeling? Tired, blah, bloated, tired, tired. And I appear to be having digestion issues lately. Did I mention tired?
Rants/Raves? Rant & rave? We were finally able to share with H's extended family over the weekend at their Thanksgiving. Given the reaction we got from my mom's side of the family when we told them, I think we were expecting a little more excitement from H's family. It was underwhelming, but oh well. H's immediate family is over the moon excited, and his extended family is probably just like "Oh, another grandchild that's great!" since there are already so many on his side. Whatevs. RAVE: I have a 3 day work week and a 5 day weekend. I have Thursday, Friday and the following Monday off. Fuck. Yes.
GTKY: Will you be doing any Black Friday shopping? If so, are you looking for anything in particular? I have never been Black Friday shopping. However, I may venture out for a few hours this year since H has to work. Really I would just love an opportunity to go shopping by myself and get a bunch of our Christmas shopping taken care of. This Friday is the perfect day to do it. The big item I'm looking for is a Vexilar fish finder for H. Any fellow ice fisherman will know what I'm talking about

Our TV went on the fritz in August, so we'll probably look around for a good deal on a new one.

Same old, MS isnt severe, just a kind(?) reminder in the morning that all is chugging along. Given that I have no real bloat and most food aversions have been gone for a week now, its almost nice. Maybe I have MS Stockholm syndrome?

I slept for half the weekend (closer to reality than you think) and it was glorious. I managed to actually put pants on on Sunday and get out of the house which was quite an accomplishment.
ETA-I totally forgot its a 3 day week. I officially am pretending its Wednesday because mondays suck.

Not likely. The main things we would look at would be baby stuff but I refuse to look at anything in stores until at least 15 weeks, just seems like it would be jinxing it. Cyber Monday, on the other hand.....
@Sgoldberg247 I think H's aunts/uncles are just physically unable to show any excitement lol Deep down we know they're happy, but I don't think they'll really get excited until they see a baby in front of them. Glad you were able to get some sleep this weekend! And I'm right there with you on Cyber Monday...shit's going down.

How are you feeling? Okay- lots of vaginal pain, tired, bloated and very nauseous at night. B6 and Unisom help some. Excited to be almost done with the first tri!

Nah. It's not my thing. I usually can't find any "deals" worth getting excited for anyway. We did buy a tv last year, but we went around 11am. Best Buy looked post apocalyptic.

How far along: 10 weeks today
Rants/raves: rant: I am now cramping every night, a lot on the left side but still goes right across too. I also am spotting daily too. Very very light, just small dots that look like tissue? TMI not blood as it doesn't smear. But red/brown in colour. Has anyone experienced this? I know the cramping is not gas as this is my 5th pregnancy and it's not anything I have experienced before. Also feeling heavy sensation when I stand. I know there is nothing they can do at this point....just wish I knew what was going on. Rave though is we had a ultrasound last week and baby looked great! So hoping midwives call today so I can discuss my concerns.
GTKY: I also live in Canada and our deals aren't as good but getting better. Hoping to find the new Apple TV for dh for Christmas. I think he also will be looking for a new tv as well.

Rants/Raves? Husband was on call all weekend and I was home sick with our 2 year old. It was so fun, but so exhausting. I am starting to wonder if she will EVER be potty-trained. (I know it's still early and they will when they're ready...etc. etc)

And considering I haven't been to a mall in at least a year - no. I won't. I always just end up hating the world and wanting to murder people. Not worth saving $10 bucks on a crappy sweater. Online shopping is my friend.

@mrsschmity - I feel the same way re: everyone who matters is happy. my parents are odd and we told them and my mom just looked at my husband and said "I thought you were getting fixed...". Yep. Good times.
@CourtJack I'm sorry but your mom's comment made me laugh. I can't imagine what I would have said in that situation, I probably would have just sat there flabbergasted that someone would say that to begin with.
@chelthorn How early do you go to watch the madness? I watch the brief recaps on the news of the super early openings and that's about all of the crazy I can manage.
@hockeyfan42 we went to best buy last year around 2 pm and finding anything in some sections was impossible. That about the earliest I am ever willing to go, otherwise its just too crazy.

Nose is in overdrive (thought I lucked out of this symptom but not so). And my boobs are so sore and sensitive I have to hold them as I take off my bra. I accidentally walked boob first into DH's elbow in Crate & Barrel and inadvertently let out a loud yelp. That was fun.

I went once with my step mom and step sister to Victoria's Secret in the mall when they opened at midnight. Some sale on yoga pants. I was 8 mo pregnant and just watched from outside the store's entrance. It was absolute screaming madness. Actual screams. Excellent people watching though!
How are you feeling? Feeling better overall, still a little tired, but the round ligament pain is out in full force. Time for the stretching and growing to begin!
Rants/Raves? Nothing much exciting, a little rave about being excited to wear maternity pants for Thanksgiving! Haha

How are you feeling? Pretty good except for the headaches. They come every afternoon and sometimes are there when I wake up. Ugh. On the plus side, my ms, food aversions and overactive nose are all improving.
Rants/Raves? So excited for a short week! We aren't going anywhere for Thanksgiving either so it should be a relaxing long weekend at our house.

My symptoms are pretty light today. Boobs don't hurt too bad, and I haven't felt nauseas yet. Pretty tired, though.
Rants/Raves? Rant - I woke up with a BAD sore throat. I just want to drink OJ, but my husband got to it alllll.
Rave - My very first doctors appointment is tomorrow! No u/s sadly, only blood and urine samples this time. After that I'll finally get to book my 2nd appointment for my first u/s which should be before Dec. 18 (so I'm told).

I'm definitely not going at night. If I go it'll be later during the day and just to browse. I'll mostly be participating in cyber Monday!

I'm totally with you on how unappealing Black Friday shopping in person can be. People can be real assholes--pretty sad. I will *only* shop online. Otherwise, I'd probably wind up on the news for decking someone.

How are you feeling? Sore and tired. Really burnt myself out with daily taekwondo training last week, but finally tested on Saturday so now I can relax. Yesterday I spent pretty much my whole day lying down wrapped in a blanket while my toddler circled/climbed all over me. Thought I was going to throw up all morning but managed to suppress it with a Mars bar.
Rants/Raves? Rant: Everyone sucks and life is impossible. Rave: Mars bars.

I already bought some cloth diapers I totally didn't need on a "pre-black friday" sale. I don't do crowds and my Christmas shopping is already done, but I do get sucked in by deals if I can get them without leaving my living room.
How are you feeling? Feeling ok today, bad headache though and lots of bloating as usual. Been sleeping a little better and I think that's because I'm trying to lay off the water for a hour or so before I get in the bed. That seems to be helping. Other than that, slightly sore boobs and that's about it.

How are you feeling? Mostly just tired. I've been having trouble sleeping and have been getting a lot of migraines lately.
Rants/Raves? So glad to be off work for this whole week. A 9 day weekend is exactly what I need right now. I'm also super excited about my drs appointment tomorrow. Can't wait to see baby again.

My version of black Friday shopping mostly includes hovering on amazon to watch for the next lightning deal and checking out the online deals at other places. I have lists of what I still need to get and if I happen to come across a good deal I'll scoop it up but I don't really need any big ticket items that I have to rush to the store for.
How are you feeling? Threw up with morning so felt a little crappy until a few hours ago. Back pain has been horrible the last week.

DH is going through a pre-baby crisis where he feels he needs to hurry up and buy everything he wants before the baby comes since clearly in his mind he will never get anything else ever again once the baby is born. Rave: Had a great ultrasound Thursday got to see the baby moving around.

How are you feeling? Crappy. I actually have a "symptom" to b*tch about so I am here. Today I started brown spotting. I know that brown is better then red. I know that spotting is normal. But to be so far along and see spotting for the first time is effing terrifying. Mothers naturally worry, right? I put in a call to my OB right away and left a message on the nurse's line. Also, it isn't a significant amount, but it makes me afraid to go to the bathroom. I just heard the heartbeat Thursday, and got to see LO on an u/s, so I am hoping all is still well. I didn't do anything weird this weekend, no sex, no working out... So just concerned.

How are you feeling? Pretty good, but MOODY. I can't seem to keep my temper in check these last few days
Rants/Raves? Rave- Just scheduled our 20 week ultrasound and even though it isn't until mid-January I'm really excited to have something to look forward to. We haven't decided if we want to know the sex of our baby yet, still on the fence, but I can't wait to see how much s/he has grown from our last scan!

We live 90 miles from the nearest "city" (Target, Home Depot, Mall, Starbucks, etc) and given my recent lack of control regarding my temper, I don't think I could handle the drive in to civilization and then the traffic once we get there. Don't want to end up being "that person" on the news!! Haha!

How are you feeling? Bloated. Grumpy. Really thirsty again - but that might be due to the high amount of salt I Have been consuming the last couple of days. And the cold dry air.
Rants/Raves? I'm glad the baby is growing well and was apparently measuring 5 days ahead, but despite that now everyone is going to refer to my due date as the end of May I have a hard time accepting it. I know my cycles. They moved DD's due date by a week and she ended up being two weeks later than her new due date which really makes me question - because I knew my dates then too.
Also my tech was more impersonal than usual/I remember so...I'm still worried something could be wrong with baby and I'm just waiting for someone to look at it and for me to get a phone call.
