Daytime Naps

Hi mummies... my 12 week old LO sleeps well during the night in her crib but refuses to sleep there during the day. She prefers to sleep in my arms for hours. I have tried closing the curtains. Putting the fan on (white noise). Letting her fall asleep in my arms for 20 mins before gently putting her down but she sleeps for maximum 5 mins in her crib and is wide awake. I don't believe in the cry it out method. I feel it's too harsh. Any suggestions?

Do you swaddle her or have her in a sleep sack at night?

Since you have already nixed the cry it out method, maybe try putting her in her crib and patting or stroking her to sleep, she'll most likely fuss at first but keep with it and best of luck!

Try having her nap somewhere besides the crib. Some babies don't like sleeping flat. My LO likes napping in her rock n play or her swing while I play rain sounds for white noise

I think that's normal because we are in the same boat, my LO won't nap in the crib. He naps swaddled in his momma roo.

I have been swaddling her only when she's napping both during the day and night. But for some reason she still doesn't sleep in her crib during the day.
