Baby measuring small

According to my LMP(9-22-15) I should be 8wk 4 days. I took a hpt 10-28-15 came back +, went to pcp next day to confirm sure enough + edd 6-28-16, made a OB appt 11-11-15 the did a vaginal us and baby measured 3.4mm which dr said put my edd at 7-6-16 but wanted to see me again in 7 days to do another scan because baby was measuring small, went back 11-18-15 had another us baby measured 5.4mm dr said I was probably going to miscarry. The next morning I woke up and wiped there was blood but not enough to soak a pad in an hour, have had minimal cramping and no more blood. They have not done ANY blood work on me to check hcg levels or anything else. Could my dates be wrong? Could I have ovulated late making baby not measure correctly? I have been told by my pcp I have a tilted uterus could this be why dr is having trouble finding the baby and measurements? I go back 11-23-15 for a 3rd scan I am super nervous what will happen
Anyone experiencing this???

First, I'm sorry you are going through this scary time. You could have ovulated later or baby could not be viable. There is almost no way to know and the only thing you could do is wait. I'm so sorry. There aren't any clear answers other than to wait.

I'm sorry you're going through this! Were they able to find a HB? My baby measured a whole week behind during my first US and he measured 6w5d but had a strong HB via vaginal US. If they were able to find one then it's a better chance that the baby is viable.

First trimester is really just a waiting game unfortunately.

The first ultrasound yes it was blinking dr didn't say if it was beating normal and didn't mention it the hb at the second ultrasound! Just said she wasn't convinced baby was growing right because she was having a hard time getting the measurements and I needed to prepare for a MC. I was just in shock so maybe I didn't hear her

There are a lot of stories about having a tilted uterus on this sight.

And unfortunately all you can do is wait. Big hugs.
