Fluid in lining

My (6th) transfer is supposed to happen at the end of the week....

I went in this morning for monitoring and my doctor just called. It's never a good sign when he calls. Allow me to add, he's on vacation...

There's fluid in my lining and he thinks my lining needs to be thicker.

Anyone have experience with this? Anything I can do to make the fluid go away or thicken the lining?

Baby #2 coming in August!

Re: Fluid in lining

  • I do - though it was on a fresh cycle. We didn't see it until the morning check the day of the transfer...

I don't know if there's anything that you can do to thicken or remove the fluid. What I can tell you is that we cancelled that transfer and froze everything because the fluid would make it a hostile environment for the embryo. While I hope it just goes away on its own for you - you may want to brace yourself to skip and restart the cycle.

My understanding from my RE after was that unless you have a fibroid issue, it's kind of a random thing that doesn't happen often.
