Hello! I tested at 9 DPO (Nov 13) and got a REALLY faint line that has been getting darker each day! I know the risk of miscarriage is still pretty high at this point, but I'm super excited! I don't want to share with the world for quite a while, but it's exciting to get to share anonymously with other people in my same shoes. We've been trying for 14 months!
According to the online apps, I am due Aug 3! Here's to hoping this little embryo sticks around for the next 9 months!
I spoke to my RE's nurse this morning. She scolded me and said that I
should not have tested until AT LEAST 16 days after my trigger shot and
that my BFP was just the trigger shot still in my system and that I got
myself excited over nothing. They won't even order serial betas until it
has been at least 16 days which is Wednesday. But they are closed
Thanksgiving and the day after so I won't know anything until next week.
But she told me to prepare myself for the test to be negative by then
since my odds of getting pregnant are so slim.
If the line is getting darker, that means your HCG is increasing, The trigger shot should be leaving your system, in turn making the line faint. Don't lose hope! I've been through IF, so I know what you're going through. FX!

@misspuppychow Please remove your photo. There is a spot in the first trimester board where you can post things you've peed on. I know it's hard, but you should probably wait for your beta since you aren't sure if/when the trigger left your system. If your line is getting darker, that is not necessarily indicative of a pregnancy. The darkness is related to the amount of dye in the test. Additionally, I recommend stop wasting money on First Response tests and finding some cheapies!!
@Kristin712 - I do have wondfo but they all look horrible when I use them and are extremely inconsistent. FRER is around $4 a piece. What do you recommend that is a little bit less expensive but higher quality than wondfo?

You get FRER for $4 each? Where do you live? I'm in Chicago and FRER is typically about $16 for a pack of two. I know the dollar store tests work well and I've found cheapies at Target for $4 for a two-pack. I use Wondfo HPTs and have had luck. I know they are usually a brand that is either loved or hated though. I stopped using them for OPKs because I couldn't get a + even though I know I was O'ing.
I'm in Columbus, OH. Most places it is $13.99 for a 2-pack but Meijer always has them $8 for a 2-pack. I know if you do Prime Pantry, FRER is $12.98 for a 3-pack too!
I'm hoping I won't be doing any testing any time soon, though!
I also have never had a positive OPK in my entire life, even though I ovulate every month. Using Wonfo and a handful of other brands. I tested 3x a day and always negative. I eventually gave up since I knew I was consistently ovulating.
Congrats to you as well @BrittMCotter! I have a unicornuate uterus so I'll most likely go early but I love August so I'm secretly hoping baby holds out !
