Hey girls. Im not a first time mom but i may as well be with more technical information since i was so young with my son. I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks where they told me my cervix was a little over 5cm. From what i understand that is really really good. Yesterday i had another ultrasound (i have them monthly to monitor twin growth) and my cervix measured at 4cm. Now from what i researched 4cm is fine and not at all a concern. What im curious about is if its normal to see big jumps like that in length in short amounts of time prior to third trimester?
From what i read less than 2cm between 20 and 24 weeks can indicate preterm labor. I went into labor with my first at 36 weeks. Now im pregnant with twins and early is expected but 36 is our goal week to make it to.
