Months vs weeks? How do you figure. Do you do months by like the day they were born. Example. She was born the 7th so two months was the 7th or November but it was really something like 9 weeks. Makes sense right?
Second... Am I terrible for letting her fall asleep herself. I put her in her cradle when she was drowsy and "asleep" or so I thought. She woke up and watched her mobile and crib soother for a while. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep before her. I feel bad like I left her to her own devices to fall asleep. But if she had started wailing I would have picked her up. Should I just be grateful she can fall asleep on her own sometimes?
Re: Two things
Also, you're supposed to put your baby in his/her crib groggy but awake so that they know that that is the sleeping place. So the fact that she is falling asleep on her own in there is awesome!
My guys birthday is 8/26. He's 12 weeks old I guess. Is he 3 months on 11/26?
And that's awesome! I haven't even been able to find a mobile to match my baby's crib yet. If I do, I hope he can just fall asleep watching it.
Week birthdays are just the day of the week he was born every week. My LO's weeks change on Sundays. So yes, like a PP said before, 2 months is at about 9 weeks, but they're totally different ways of counting (and February babies will be right on for the first month because the month of February is exactly 4 weeks, which is unlike any other month).
Sadly, this just goes to show that those of us who take the 12 weeks (unpaid) FMLA leave really don't get the first 3 months--it's really only 2.5.
I hope this makes sense!
Edit* can someone tell me how to put LO'S birthday in on the bump app? It still shows I'm like 40 something weeks pregnant and that is quite obviously not the case lol
We have a little Einstein soother, I believe it's like under the sea, it stays on for a long time and you can pick if you want music or music and lights. Also, it has a little remote you can use to start it back up! She doesn't pay much attention to that one yet she prefers her mobile!
