Newbie intro :)

Newly engaged, I'm 35 and my fiancé is 33. We are TTC #1 as of this month. I work as an ER nurse, and seeing miscarriages all the time made me pretty anxious about the whole process. I also work night shift at a hospital that's 65 miles away, so logistically fitting sex into our schedule around ovulation will be tricky some months, but I've decided that being excited and hopeful are more fulfilling ways to exist than cynical and skeptical. For now, I'm enjoying our increased intimacy and looking forward to the hope my cycle brings this month

I should ovulate around the 27th, with ample days off before and after this time, so it will be a solid start to this new adventure!
