heating pads for cramps

This is my first week after missed period, im ttc and may be pregnant. All week ive been loving my microwave heat wrap right on my low belly for those cramps.....until i questioned if thats safe. Im not going to use it anymore my googling indicated its like taking a hot bath, jacuzzi, bringing the body temp at or above 102 for more than 10 minutes.

Re: heating pads for cramps

  • Yeh sweety prolly not a good idea, ask ur doc, it might be ok in one area, cuz in a bath or spa ur whole body is in the hot, so just check, but if u feel u get too hot, stop for a bit  ok xx

  • You should not put heating pads on your stomach if you're not pregnant. However, you're not pregnant right now so I wouldn't worry. I assume you've taken a test?

Yeah you should probably take a test. Don't assume you're pregnant until you actually confirm you are.
  • Without a positive pregnancy test I would go ahead and use the heating pad. Odds are your period is on its way.
