Cervix is 50% effaced

I'm 35 weeks pregnant, got my follow up appt today and I'm 50% effaced and now I'm having bad cramping
Very uncomfortable
How long it will take to be 100% effaced?

Every woman is different and every pregnancy is different . so no one can tell you how long it will take.... And cramping is normal after cervical checks

I've been sitting at 50 percent effaced and no dilating for 3 weeks now and I'm over 40 weeks pregnant ....it's just something that depends on each person. There is no set time or way that this goes.
