I had my 20 week u/s today and my dr. said that everything looked normal except that my umbilical cord had 2 blood vessels instead of 3 (1vein and 1 artey), and that i have marginal cord insertion meaning that the umbilical cord inserts at the edge of the placenta rather than the middle. While my OB wasnt too concerned and i do trust him, of course i cant help but worry a little

If your OB isn't expressing a lot of concern I'd say go with what he has said. Don't try to google different things about it for sure as that will just make you worry more. Just try as hard as possible to not worry. Keep yourself busy and just be happy that you are indeed pregnant and baby is healthy. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you!
