I have been having a lot of pelvic pressure when I sit on the toilet . Now am scared to pee I went to labor and delivery earlier for back pain . They said I was 3 cm dialated . I really don't want to go back in. Anyone else feel that pressure ?
There are a couple posts about babies dropping that talk about pressure. Pressure in the third trimester is normal. If you're having timeable contractions then you should call in, but otherwise, get used to it until then. And to answer you, I am experiencing quite a bit of pelvic pressure with mild infrequent contractions. My doctor wasn't worried and won't be until they're 10 minutes apart (I'm high risk so that's further apart than most doctors will say).
I definitely feel the pressure. I'm 36 weeks and my baby girl hasn't really dropped yet, but I feel the pressure like she is about to. And I have been having infrequent Braxton Hicks the past 2 days which causes me to have that pressure feeling too. This is why most doctors will have you visit them once a week now.
I have that all the time... Its horrible.. Especially because i have to take care of a 15 month old all day!!! But mine is really bad because baby is low as low can go!!! Baby will be here soon, for you as well! Gooodd luck !
Definitely feel pressure here. I just sneezed and it felt like I blew my vaj apart... Ouch. Twin 1 has been rocking her comfy spot on my cervix for weeks now. It feels like twin2 is helping push further down. The real fun is rolling over after twin2 gets comfy and then it feels like she is falling into another position. When I get up it feels like she takes up any remaining space left in my lower belly.
Has anyone found a way to sit comfortably. If I sit for more then 20 minutes I can bearly walk due to the pelvic pain/pressure. I try to get up frequently but sometimes at work that's hard.

Unfortunately no I sit in a chair at work all day and I haven't found a way to get comfortable at all. We have ergo desks that can move up and down so I try to stand as often as possible but even then it's only for like 10 minutes and then I'm uncomfortable standing too. And I'm getting BH consistently and they are much worse when sitting so that just adds to the discomfort. If you find a comfortable way to sit please share!
I am carrying twins and my boy is feet down...in my crotch. Kicking me all the time. I get pressure when I sit. I have found that sitting more on one butt cheek than the other helps a lot. I just shift back and forth every 10-15 minutes. I had more issues with my sons pregnancy. Heating pad helped on my lower back even though it didn't hurt really bad, it helped loosen up the muscles. Also doing a budda-like pose helps. It's hard to do if you work, but I make sure I sit on the ground like that for 5 minutes a few times a day. It's quiet hard to do with twins, but its helped a lot with my muscles relaxing for a few hours once they are stretched. I did the same thing when I worked over lunch. I would sit on the ground to eat and then just struggle to get up. But, it helped...as weird as that is. You'll figure out what works for you.
I like sitting with my legs crossed Chinese style. I feel it gives the baby more space and helps keep my back straight. I'll even put my legs up in cafes sometimes and do it because I just don't care anymore.
@sarahjulypsu@VesperLove Have you tried sitting on a Pilates ball/birthing ball? Or one of those donut pillows? I am a SAHM but when I am sitting, this is the only way that is comfortable.
I sit at a desk at work and my boss let me use an ottoman that goes to his lounge chair for me to put my feet up on. Sometimes I will put a pillow for support for my lower back as well. I have a wireless keyboard and can set it on my belly now haha. Make sure to get up and walk a little bit every fifteen minutes or so. I usually have to go to the bathroom that often anyways at 35 weeks. At home I put my feet up on the coffee table with a pillow behind my lower back. I need support for my ribs since I had a few dislocate due to having a 19 cm ovarian cyst that is pushing all of my organs into my ribcage and causing a good amount of pressure. When I go pee, I have to spread my legs wide and slide my hands under my stomach to take a little bit of the weight off of my bladder and pelvis. My pelvis hurts a lot in the morning, especially when I have to walk down the stairs, but I make my breakfast and sit on the couch and have my coffee and it starts to feel better. The worst thing is driving an hour to and from work.

I have pressure intermittently when getting up or walking, baby seems to have dropped last week (37 w 2 d). My dr only has me coming in at 38 weeks and then at 40, which I feel like I won't make.
