Hey, wondering if anyone knows if this type of tea is pregnancy safe? I forgot to ask my Dr at last appointment but I'm feeling under the weather and I hear that tea is pretty helpful. Just thought I'd check if anyone knows! Thanks
Cold 911 has juniper berry, if I recall correctly, and juniper berry is listed as an ingredient that is potentially not safe. Seems to me there might be other ingredients in it on the no list as well. It's one I'd personally avoid, and I've been pretty ok with most "no list" ingredients in small amounts.
I had a cold earlier in my pregnancy and my doctor said the safest treatment was regular strength Tylenol for aches/pains, steam for congestion, and ginger tea with lemon for my throat. None of that was super effective for me, but I had peace of mind knowing it was safe for baby even if I was miserable.
I have only been drinking tea that says preg safe. I also love steeping ginger in boiling wanter and adding lemon and manuka honey. this has been my go to throughout
