Trying to think happy thoughts...UPDATE IN COMMENTS!

This past Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, I took 3 EPT early result digital tests (my period was expected Monday) and all were positive. Went to the doctor yesterday and he said my urine test was negative. He did so a blood test and I'm impatiently waiting. I just don't know what to think. My period is late which has NEVER happened, but now I'm afraid to get my hopes up. Sigh. Anyone else had a similar situation happen to them?

Doctors use cheap urine tests that aren't very sensitive. It's possible that the epts you used were more sensitive than their test and were able to pick up lower levels than the doctors tests. If so, the blood test WILL pick up the levels.

I hope it's positive! As the first response says, the doctor's office urine tests aren't that great.

UPDATE: The doctor just called and the blood test was positive! Looks like I'm 4 weeks + 2 days!!!

Congrats! After seeing more than one post like this I'm really happy that I am paranoid and didn't call my doctor until I had a solid week of progressively darker tests.

I'm I'm the same boat now! I've had 5 BFPs over the past 2 days and a couple of negatives thrown in late in the day (I drink a ton of water). At the doc now waiting for blood work because their pee test was negative I really hope the results come back today, I hate the idea of waiting until Monday!

Thanks! I'm having symptoms and I haven't bled or anything so I'm hopeful. I made DH hide the rest of the HPTs so I don't drive myself crazy peeing on sticks all weekend!

Haha! That was me last weekend! I took SIX tests. Yup...six.
