I have been concerned that I always hear the little guy so low (basically a half inch above my vagina) at 16 weeks. Everything I have seen/read seems to indicate that he should be further up by now. I'm definitely going to ask my doctor if I have a low-lying uterus or am just insane, but this led me to my actual question...
When I posed this question to a friend she said that where you hear the baby on the Doppler isn't necessarily exactly where the baby is... More like where you get the best "reception" in there between organs/placenta/etc.
Can anybody confirm this? Are at-home dopplers finding your baby's actual position, or could the sound be a bit off?
