Intro (losses mentioned)

Hello friends. My name is Erika and I'm moving over from the pregnant after a loss group. DH and I have had three losses (7 wks in 1/2014; mmc discovered @ 12wks 3/2015; 9 weeks in 8/2015). I knew our age wouldn't make it easy (we're both 38), but after the second loss I was also found to be heterozygous for MTHFR, which may or may not be a contributing factor. At the first appointment for my last pregnancy, I asked for a progesterone test and my levels came back low (7 @ 6 weeks based on ovulation), so now I am on progesterone therapy in addition to natural folate and baby aspirin. I feel like a science experiment. Like most of you, I suspect, I have good days and bad days. Getting pregnant again is alternately an obsession and a terrifying prospect. The one positive is that, because of our age, we don't field contestant questions about when we plan to have kids. We do, however, hear a lot of "just relax - it'll happen when you least expect it". Those are the times I want to scream "NO! NO! NO! It will NOT just happen! Pregnancy will never just "sneak" up on me - it will always be a carefully orchestrated regimen of supplements and prescriptions, or worse."
